Today's job turned out to be a bit of a shock for the owner, this supposedly 2007 car (registered date) was actually a 2005 vehicle with clearly a late registration date, how do we know? Well, Volvo stopped using Denso Ecu's in 2005 and swapped to Bosch type ECU's which were much better! Unfortunately, these are not tuned via the OBD, so it even fooled me as well! Out with the ECU and bench tuned, i only quoted £99inc on this! Ended up with a ton of work and 3 times longer to do, but another happy customer, so all is well in the end!
