5th time lucky! Watch out for so called Remap companies totally screwing your ECU's up! This has been an ongoing F**k up from start to finish with lie upon lie from another company (original specialist company) saying they had reflashed both ECU's back to standard, clearly they hadn't plus left some form of licence installed which meant a complete delete and start afresh, hopefully now all should be back to working again!

So these are a pair of ECU's from an Audi RS4 4.2L V8, one ECU runs one bank, the other obviously runs the other bank (bit like having 2 separate engines under the hood) Originally this car went to a 'Specialist' in these 'top end' vehicles, the tune itself wasn't anything special but the deletes were not complete in any shape or form, So this car needed SAI (secondary air injection) VSA (Inlet Flaps for short) Lambda delete and Cat delete as it now boasts a Stainless Steel Exhaust system from my old garage JP Exhausts in Macclesfield. However, trying to write any file via OBD port resulted in a fail and nothing could get past a 95% write and then fail. Alientech to the rescue here! We bench read the files and Alientech sent 2 totally restored files for the ECU's, wasn't easy because neither was on the database! However after a full delete and rewrite both ECU's now match up and both now have the correct deletes written to them! What price do you put on jobs like this? Well we were cheaper by more than half in the first place so don't ever judge a remap on price alone!
